Numbers your accountant
will actually trust.

Cannabis P&L is hard because COGS shifts, tips muddy revenue, refunds happen mid-month, and Prop 215 exemption logic affects the tax line. Kushify computes profit the way an auditor would: variant-level historical COGS, tips excluded, refunds reflected at the day they happen.

Intake vs Realized toggle

Every revenue, profit, and order dashboard toggles between 'Order Placed' (Intake) and 'Delivered' (Realized) perspectives. Reconcile to either, depending on your accounting.

Integer-cent math

Bundle prices distributed in integer cents at checkout. Pennies land on the last unit so receipt totals reconcile exactly. No more fractional-cent discrepancies.

Variant-level COGS

Profit computed against historical variant-level cost-of-goods-sold. When wholesale price changes mid-month, your profit dashboard reflects what each unit actually cost when it sold.

Tips excluded from profit

Tips belong to the driver, not the business. Tips are tracked separately and excluded from profit calculations by default — though available as a separate dashboard.

8 sub-permissions

view_dashboard · view_revenue · view_profit · view_tips · view_orders · view_products · view_brands · view_employees. Grant your COO everything; grant your floor manager only what they need.

Cash reconciliation

Collected + Unattributed + Awaiting = Total. Days-held highlighted amber at 3d, red at 7d. Cash never lingers without someone noticing.

Brand insights

Market-share analysis, conversion tracking, and SKU-level performance within any brand. Useful for buyer reviews and brand negotiations.

Employee performance

Sales per shift, average ticket, attach rate by budtender. Identify training needs and reward top performers — with the data they earned it on.

Export everywhere

Every dashboard exports to CSV or Google Sheets. Daily/weekly/monthly automated email reports to any address.

FAQ

Analytics questions.

What's the difference between Intake and Realized revenue?

Intake = revenue at order placement. Realized = revenue at delivery/pickup completion. Most dispensaries reconcile against Realized for accounting because that's when the inventory actually leaves the building, but Intake is useful for measuring marketing performance and demand.

How is profit calculated?

Profit = (Realized revenue) − (Variant-level COGS at the time the unit was sold) − (Discounts) − (Refunds). Tips are excluded by default. COGS is historical, not current — if wholesale changed yesterday, today's sales of yesterday's inventory still use yesterday's COGS.

Can I give my accountant read-only access?

Yes. The 8 sub-permissions let you grant view_dashboard + view_revenue + view_profit to your accountant without giving them any operational permissions. Audit log captures every login and every export.

Do you integrate with QuickBooks?

We provide daily journal exports in QuickBooks-compatible CSV format. Direct API integration is on the roadmap; until then, the export is the cleanest path and many accountants prefer reviewing it before posting.
